The couple’s house in Hanoi consists of 4 floors. The design area of the floors ranges from 65 to 71m2.
Located in an urban area 15km from Hanoi inner city, the house is used by the homeowner for relaxation purposes on weekends, holidays, Tet or when gathering with friends.
The homeowner wants the house’s architecture to clearly demonstrate the spirit of simplicity, rusticity and warmth, but no less sophistication. The architect decided to design the project in the Japanese Wabi Sabi style.
The 4-storey house is divided into different functional areas. The first floor is reserved for an entertainment area and parking. The second floor is the living space, kitchen and one bedroom.
The 3rd floor includes 2 bedrooms and a hallway. The 4th floor includes 1 bedroom, hall, terrace.
The main color of the house is ivory white combined with sand yellow and faux concrete paint. Because there are children in the house, all furniture is designed with curves and rounded shapes, not only aesthetically pleasing but also ensuring safety for children.
The living room and kitchen space are divided but still ensure ventilation and full functionality. The kitchen area has been designed to elevate the dining room floor combined with a plaster ceiling, creating a unique space. The bedroom space is designed to be minimalist but still ensures functionality.
The 3rd floor lobby is arranged as a place to rest and relax for the whole family.
The 4th floor is reserved by the homeowner for children with an outside play area and an attic room with a sunroof. This design helps bring in natural light during the day and creates a beautiful space at night.
The homeowner is very satisfied when the house space truly becomes a place to keep beautiful memories with relatives.
The cost of interior design and construction of the house is 1.5 billion VND.
