Opening photo exhibition of the Fatherland by the waves

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai said: “Fatherland on the shore of the waves” is the common name for propaganda products and projects on marine topics, Vietnam island implemented by the Central Propaganda Department. In addition to the purpose of introducing and promoting the potential and beauty of nature and people in Vietnam’s seas and islands to a large art-loving public, the national art photo contest “Fatherland on the shore of the waves” also aims to propagate and affirm the correct policies and guidelines of the Party and State.

The organizing committee has selected 154 typical photo works of the contest to display at the exhibition. Including 22 award-winning works including 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes introduced to the people of the city and the public all over the country.”

With the exhibition titled “Ho Chi Minh City – For the whole country, together with the whole country”, the Organizing Committee displayed 80 photos in the Nguyen Hue walking street area. That is the image of the Party Committee and people of Ho Chi Minh City striving to fulfill the expectations of beloved Uncle Ho and the Party over the past 49 years with the revolutionary tradition of resilience, solidarity, dynamism and creativity.

Along with that are the images of Ho Chi Minh City changing its skin, gradually becoming a major center of economics, culture, education – training, science – technology, a focal point for exchange and international integration, is a key economic region in the South, with an important political position in the country.

* Opposite Chi Lang Park, an exhibition with the theme “Ho Chi Minh City – Traditional city, compassionate and meaningful city” was also displayed by the Organizing Committee, including 50 photos.

The exhibition shows that along with the construction and development of the city, the tradition of kindness and affection has become a characteristic in the behavioral culture, thinking and action of the people of the city named after Uncle Ho and is concluded, preserve and spread more deeply throughout the development process. This is also an important driving force to create consensus, synergy, and overcome difficulties and challenges of the city’s people in recent years.
