On April 23, Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training issued a document instructing education and training departments to implement the work of selecting textbooks according to Circular No. 27/2023 of the Ministry of Education. -Training at the elementary level.

Accordingly, the department requires education and training departments to study the content of Circular No. 27/2023 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating the selection of textbooks in general education establishments; Decision No. 08 dated April 19, 2024 of the Provincial People’s Committee promulgating regulations on criteria for selecting textbooks in general education establishments in the province. On that basis, organize conferences and deploy them to primary education establishments to ensure the selection of textbooks according to regulations; Advise district-level People’s Committees to ensure funding sources for public primary education establishments to organize textbook selection. In addition, guide, inspect, and supervise primary education establishments to seriously implement the organization and operations of the Textbook Selection Council, principles, procedures, and criteria for selecting books. At the same time, evaluate the selection dossier, synthesize the list of textbooks selected by primary education institutions and the book needs, and report to the department before May 20. The Department of Education and Training will train and foster administrators and teachers to use selected textbooks to organize teaching and learning for grade 5 in the 2024 – 2025 school year in the province.
