Letter to me was released at the end of March, telling about the deep love of Major General Hoang Dan (1928-2003) and National Assembly delegate Nguyen Thi An Vinh (1933-2022).

Filled with longing, anger and waiting, the couple could only send more than 400 letters to each other, spanning many historical milestones of the nation: the Dien Bien Phu victory in 1954, the Route 9 Campaign – Khe Sanh in 1968, Quang Tri in 1972, Saigon in 1975, the fight to protect the Northern border in 1979, 1884… Those letters also became the rope that tied the love of the two people.
The story of General Hoang Dan and Mrs. An Vinh is not only the story of a couple, a husband and wife, but also the love of an entire generation, a period of the country.
