On November 21, Can Tho International Airport said it had just organized Can Tho airport cleaning staff to return a diamond worth 550 million VND to a female passenger who lost it.

On November 18, Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Dung, a cleaning staff at Can Tho International Airport, discovered a diamond while cleaning the aisle leading passengers from the plane to the terminal.

Ms. Dung reported and handed over the diamond to the airport’s lost luggage search department. Through reviewing information, the Lost Luggage Search Department determined that the diamond belonged to a female passenger on a flight from Hanoi to Can Tho on November 17.

When getting off the plane, the female passenger contacted the Lost Luggage Search Department and reported the loss of a highly valuable diamond.

Can Tho International Airport has contacted and carried out procedures to return assets to passengers. The female passenger’s diamond is worth about 550 million VND.
