The Central Audit Committee requested the Politburo to consider and enforce discipline on the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms.

The Central Audit Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee to decide to discipline 17 party organizations and 17 party members according to the Central Audit Committee’s conclusion. The Central Audit Committee continues to review and enforce discipline on other related party organizations and party members.

Reviewing the report recommending disciplinary action against a number of violating Party members at the Party Committees of An Giang and Soc Trang provinces, the Central Audit Committee found that Mr. Vuong Binh Thanh, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee Party leader, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People’s Committee; Tran Van Chuyen, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Soc Trang Province, violated Party regulations and State laws in carrying out assigned responsibilities and tasks; violating regulations on what party members cannot do and the responsibility to set an example; causing serious consequences, bad public opinion, reducing the reputation of the party organization and local government, to the point of requiring consideration and disciplinary action.

Based on the Party’s regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Vuong Binh Thanh; disciplinary reprimand of Mr. Tran Van Chuyen.
