On the morning of April 24, Mr. Pham Quoc Huy, Managing Director of Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet Expressway Project, said that after a week of rushed construction, the stop on this highway section was put into use. The station is located in Hong Liem commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, with 6 toilets, electricity, water, parking, serving customers from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang. Users do not have to pay a fee.

On the first morning of operation, many drivers stopped by to use the service. According to drivers, the Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet expressway section is located in the middle of the expressway connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, so placing a stop here before the holiday has promptly resolved the urgent needs of road users.
“Previously we had to pull into the emergency lane to go to the bathroom, but now there are stations along the way which are very convenient,” said driver Le Tuan Minh running from Ho Chi Minh City to Ninh Thuan.
In the opposite direction, due to lack of clean ground, the expressway management unit has not arranged a temporary stop. Instead, the unit installed signs instructing drivers to go to Hien Huong gas station on Highway 28 next to Ma Lam intersection to stop for a rest, then merge onto the highway right at this intersection.

115 km away from the two stations, two temporary stops on the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao highway were also built by the investor on both sides of the intersection of provincial road 709, Nhi Ha commune, Thuan Nam district (Ninh Thuan province). Currently, the toilets are installed and the waiting room is completed, expected to be put into use on April 25.
On the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet highway, the project management board is also implementing the construction of two temporary stations (each one hectare wide, opposite each other) in Tan Duc commune, Ham Tan district (Binh Thuan) bordering Dong Nai. Deer. Portable toilet items, electricity and water systems, signs, entrances… are under construction, expected to be completed before April 30.

The expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Khanh Hoa, including 5 sections: Ho Chi Minh City – Dau Giay, Dau Giay – Phan Thiet, Phan Thiet – Vinh Hao, Vinh Hao – Cam Lam, Cam Lam – Nha Trang, more than 400 km long, currently has only one The stop is located in Cam My district, Dong Nai. This leads to a distance of more than 300 km from Dong Nai to Khanh Hoa with no rest stops, causing inconvenience for drivers and passengers.
In addition to the above 6 stops, the Nghi Son – Dien Chau, Dien Chau – Bai Vot, Cam Lo – La Son, Nha Trang – Cam Lam highways will complete the rest stop system before April 30, according to the request of the Department of Management. highway management
According to the Ministry of Transport, on April 28, the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao expressway (the final section connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Khanh Hoa) and Dien Chau – Bai Vot (through Nghe An, Ha Tinh) will be inaugurated.
