Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Phan Van Mai received additional tasks

Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has just decided to establish a Council and a team to assist the Council in evaluating the pilot policy project to encourage and protect officials who are dynamic, creative, dare to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility for common interests according to Conclusion 14/2021 of the Politburo.

According to this decision, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Phan Van Mai will be Chairman of the Council. Vice Chairman of the Project Evaluation Council is Mr. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

Members of the Evaluation Council for the Pilot Policy Project to encourage and protect dynamic, creative, daring to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility for the common good include representatives of the City’s Organizing Committee leaders. Party Committee, Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee, Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee, Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Department of Justice, Department of Home Affairs and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Office.

The Council’s assisting team has 10 people led by Mr. Tran Minh Tien, Deputy Head of the Civil Servants and Public Employees Department, Department of Home Affairs.

The Council is responsible for commenting and evaluating the pilot project of policies to encourage and protect officials who are dynamic, creative, dare to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility for the common good, implemented according to Conclusion 14/ 2021 of the Politburo.

The Council evaluates the necessity, purpose, and requirements of the project; scope, object; effectiveness and feasibility of the project content and impact of the project; time and resources to organize the implementation of the Project. The duties of Council members are assigned by the Council Chairman.

The newly established Council will work according to collective principles, making decisions by majority. In case of equal voting, the voting opinion of the Chairman of the Council shall be carried out. Within 10 days from the date of establishment of the Council, the Chairman of the Council holds a meeting to evaluate the draft Project.
