Meanwhile, the price of gold rings and 24K gold jewelry of all kinds also fluctuates in a narrow range. This morning, the price of gold rings listed by businesses was 73.1 million VND/tael to buy and 74.8 million VND/tael to sell – down 100,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday.
With current developments, the price of SJC gold bars is about 9 million VND/tael higher than gold rings and about 12.5 million VND/tael higher than world gold (converted at the listed exchange rate). By 9:45 a.m. Vietnam time, the world gold price was trading at 2,320 USD/ounce, a slight increase compared to the price at the beginning of this morning’s session.
On the foreign exchange market, the USD price at commercial banks began to cool down when it was traded around 25,200 VND/USD for buying, 25,476 VND/USD for selling – down about 9 VND compared to yesterday.
