“Even though I knew the program was really heavy, I still chose to study further because I wanted to push myself to improve more and more. The past process has helped me develop self-study skills, time management and self-adjusting plans.” flexibly”, Thai Tai expressed.

Having trained the necessary skills to withstand high academic pressure when he was a math student at High School for the Gifted (Ho Chi Minh City National University), Tai did not feel “suffocated” with the study routine. at Polytechnic. However, he admitted that he “cannot help but fear” that increasing the number of subjects will reduce the quality of learning results.

According to Tai, the first biggest challenge that needs to be overcome lies in the Polytechnic University’s training program with a dense schedule of classes and experiments, requiring students to have high self-study and self-research capacity.

He has tried to arrange a reasonable and scientific study schedule, adding a few subjects each semester compared to the original training program, arranging a study schedule of 3-4 days/week and spending the remaining days for self-study. and read specialized documents.

“I make a list of things to do at the beginning of each week, divide them equally among the days and summarize after each week of studying. In class, I try to ask many questions and understand the lesson right there, as well as review the lesson. after class. I also learn from the experiences of my seniors and study in groups when studying for exams to optimize time,” Tai revealed about his study method.

With a tight schedule, I still go to the movement and help my family

After completing a major assignment in the software technology subject, Thai Tai was invited by the lecturer to participate in a practical research project on building “A system to serve the management of the urban waste transportation process”. That is also Tai’s university graduation project.

While working on a project and interning full-time at VinAI, this time is really a challenge for Tai. He tried his best, spending time outside of work to refine the project as best as possible, and finally achieved the result with 9.34 points. “Although it is not a great achievement, I very much appreciate it and will continue to develop this project,” Tai confided.

What surprises his friends is that despite his busy schedule of classes, internships, and holding the position of class officer for 3.5 years, Tai still spends time playing sports, helping his family, and participating in activities. Extracurriculars develop soft skills in the summer.

Tai also received a scholarship to encourage him to study regularly every semester, something that few Polytechnic students can achieve.
