At the end of the trading session, VN-Index increased 4.55 points (0.38%), to 1,209.52 points; HNX-Index decreased 0.75 points (0.33%), to 226.82 points. The overall market breadth favored the buying side with 403 increasing codes and 384 decreasing codes. The VN30 basket is balanced with 13 increasing codes, 13 decreasing codes and 4 reference codes.

Market liquidity increased slightly compared to the previous trading session, with matching trading volume of VN-Index reaching more than 574 million shares, equivalent to a value of more than 14 trillion VND; HNX-Index reaching more than 60 million shares, equivalent to a value of more than 1.2 trillion VND.

VN-Index opened the afternoon session with a state of struggle around reference until near the end of the session, then buying power prevailed, helping the index maintain its green color until the end of the session. Regarding the level of influence, VIC, HDB, GVR and MWG are the codes with the most positive influence VN-Index with more than 4.2 points increase. On the contrary, BID, MSN, GAS and CTG are the codes with the most negative impact, taking away more than 1.4 points from the index.

The retail industry is the industry with the strongest recovery with 2.06% mainly coming from codes MWG (+2.04%), PNJ (+0.85%) and FRT (+5.23%). On the contrary, the rubber products industry had the strongest decrease in the market with -1.1%, mainly coming from codes DRC (-0.84%), CSM (-1.35%), and SRC (-1.96%).

Regarding foreign transactions, this sector returned to net buying more than 24 billion VND on HOSE, focusing on codes MWG (273.67 billion), VCB (73.69 billion), VNM (43.87 billion) and KDH (41.39 billion). On the HNX, foreign investors net bought more than 97 billion VND, focusing on PVS (95.17 billion) and IDC (10.63 billion).

Morning session: The cautious mentality is still present

Rising momentum of VN-Index stopped with more than 3 points increase after narrowing at the end of the morning session. At the same time, foreign investors maintained net selling, showing that the situation still has no signs of positive optimism. Ending the morning session, VN-Index increased 3.63 points, equivalent to 0.3%. Opposite, HNX decreased 0.54 points, equivalent to 0.24%.

Trading volume of VN-Index recorded in the morning session of more than 288 million units, with a value of more than 7 trillion VND. HNX-Index recorded a trading volume of more than 28 million units, with a transaction value of more than 534 billion VND.

The market started to climb and rebounded strongly in the middle of the morning session, then the profit-taking pressure increased, pulling the index closer to the reference mark. But it helped that the excitement was still maintained VN-Index Successfully closed above the threshold of 1,208 points, although the index traded quite difficult in the second half of the morning session. Among them, stock codes recorded quite good increases, typically: MWG increased by 1.49%, FRT increased sharply by 4.71% and CCI increased by 6.57%. On the contrary, stocks PNJ slightly decreased by 0.32%.

Besides, the plastics – chemicals industry is also in the positive growth group from the beginning of this morning’s session. Specifically GVR (+1.7%), DGC (+1.46%), NTP (+1.25%), CSV (+1.43%), LIX (+2.97%),…

On the contrary, industry groups such as securities, construction materials, mining, rubber, electrical equipment and other finance all recorded negative results this morning.

10:30: Hesitancy appears

Investors seemed quite confused, causing the main indexes to fluctuate around the reference mark. As of 10:30 a.m., VN-Index increased slightly by 6.18 points, trading around 1,211 points. HNX-Index slightly decreased 0.28 points, trading around 227 points.

The width of the VN30-Index basket with the green color is somewhat more dominant. Specifically, in the positive direction there is VIC increased by 1.20 points, SHB increased by 1.01 points, HDB increased 0.97 points and FPT increased 0.95 points. On the contrary, there are only a few stocks that are still under selling pressure such as HPG, VPBVRE and SSB took away more than 1 point from the overall index.

Although the real estate industry stocks are diverging, the number of codes keeping the green color still dominates. On the buying side with the participation of VHM increased by 0.37%, VIC increased by 2.5% and raw materials increased by 0.99%, leading this industry group. Besides, some codes like VREDIG, NLG and KBC are still under selling pressure but not significantly.

Followed by the banking sector also maintained a fairly good increase with stocks such as VCB increased by 1.65%, TCB increased by 0.22%, MBB increased by 0.22% and ACB increased by 0.56%…

On the contrary, the stock market is having a rather poor performance when information that the Securities Commission did not approve KRX to operate on May 2 was announced this morning with leading stocks under selling pressure. like SSI down 0.57%, VND down 1.43%, VCI down 0.43% and HCM down 1.83%…

Compared to the beginning of the session, the buying side is still more dominant even though the market is still taking up the majority of stocks that are still standing in price (more than 1,000 stocks). The number of increasing codes was 311 (18 codes increased to the ceiling) and the number of decreasing codes was 251 codes (21 codes decreased to the floor).

Open: Cautious mentality

At the beginning of the April 26 session, up to 9:30 a.m., VN-Index slightly decreased with a cautious mentality as it continuously fluctuated around the reference mark.

Ho Chi Minh City (HOSE) on approval of official operation of the KRX information technology system (KRX system).

The State Securities Commission announced that HOSE submit to this agency a proposal to approve the official operation of the KRX system without reporting to the Ministry of Finance, the Vietnam Stock Exchange (VNX) and without the opinions of the beneficiary units (Stock Exchange). Hanoi Securities (HNX) and VSDC) is not guaranteed to comply with legal regulations.

At the beginning of the morning session (April 26), the securities industry recorded a negative record with a decrease of 1.45%.
