New businesses announced their financial statements for the first quarter of 2024:

Vinhomes Joint Stock Company (stock code: VHM) just announced the consolidated financial report for the first quarter of 2024, accordingly, the total converted consolidated net revenue reached 8,605 billion VND. The company’s consolidated profit after tax reached 904 billion VND.

Vingroup Corporation (VIC) just announced the financial report for the first quarter of 2024 with total consolidated net revenue in the first quarter of 2024 reaching 21,739 billion VND, down 44% over the same period. Financial revenue increased to 18,941 billion VND, an increase of 88% over the same period, mainly thanks to profits from liquidation of financial investments and transfer of subsidiaries of 17,690 billion VND. Vingroup’s consolidated after-tax profit in the first quarter reached VND 1,335 billion, up 126% over the same period.

Power Generation Corporation 3 – Joint Stock Company (EVN Genco3 – code: PGV) Reported net revenue in the first quarter of 2024 reached 9,688 billion VND, down 15% over the same period, lower cost of goods sold, causing PGV’s gross profit to decrease by 51% to 609 billion VND. Financial costs increased, PGV reported a pre-tax loss of more than 650 billion VND.

Net revenue increased slightly by 0.3%, Ca Mau Fertilizer (DCM) reported pre-tax profit increased by 46% to VND 383 billion

Becamex IDC (BCM) Reported pre-tax profit for the first quarter reached nearly 128 billion VND, an increase of 62%.

Masan MeatLife (MML) reported a pre-tax loss of VND 44 billion.

FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company (FPT Retail, stock code FRT) announced business results for the first quarter of 2024 with pre-tax profit reaching 89 billion VND – 43 times higher than the same period last year. With a profit of 89 billion VND, FRT recorded the highest pre-tax profit in the last 5 quarters.

FIT Group (FIT) recorded pre-tax profit in the first quarter decreased by 64% over the same period to reach 78 billion VND.

Vocarimex (VOC) Recorded first quarter pre-tax profit of 9 billion, down 99% over the same period when there was no sudden financial revenue like the first quarter of 2023.

ACB Bank (ACB) Reported pre-tax profit for the first quarter reached VND 4,892 billion, down 5% over the same period Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) The first quarter EBT report was almost flat compared to the same period.

Thanks to liquidation of investments and reversal of provisions for bad debts, Hoa Binh Construction (HBC) reported pre-tax profit for the first quarter of 2024 of nearly 58 billion VND, while last year’s loss was 44 billion VND.

Hai Phat (HPX) Pre-tax profit was 22 billion VND in the first quarter of 2024, while in the same period the loss was 24 billion VND. The company’s revenue is 2.1 times higher than VND 324 billion.
