At the foot of Xuan Duong hill, next to the North – South highway, more than 60m from the blasting location, there are many households in hamlet 2, Dien Phu commune (Dien Chau), so when blasting and constructing with vibrating rollers, people believed to have affected housing projects.

Several times people asked to stop blasting to assess the impact and adjust construction methods.

The local government has also repeatedly organized meetings between relevant parties to unify plans to address people’s rights and create consensus to ensure project implementation on schedule.

According to the leader of the People’s Committee of Dien Chau district, in January 2024, at a meeting between the local government and project enterprises, Project Management Board 6 of the Ministry of Transport, construction units and 6 households. Relatedly, one household has agreed with the loss compensation plan prepared by the project enterprise’s appraisal unit.

Only 5 other households will wait until after blasting is completed (March 31, 2024) to conduct damage assessment.
