On April 26, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed the Prime Minister’s decisions to discipline the Chairman and former Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province.
Specifically, in Decision No. 346, the Prime Minister decided to enforce discipline by removing the position of Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province from Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, former Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province.
The reason is that Mr. Quynh has committed violations and shortcomings in his work and the Secretariat has enforced party discipline. The time for disciplinary action against Mr. Quynh is from January 31, 2024 (the date of announcement of the Secretariat’s disciplinary decision).
In Decision No. 347, the Prime Minister decided to enforce discipline in the form of reprimand for Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province for the 2021 – 2026 term.
The reason is that Ms. Giang has committed violations and shortcomings in her work and the Central Inspection Committee has enforced discipline on the party. The time for disciplining Ms. Giang is from January 31, 2024 (the date of announcement of the decision of the Central Inspection Committee).
The Central Committee expelled Mr. Tran Duc Quan and Nguyen Nhan Chien from the Party
Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc District and former Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien were disciplined by the 13th Party Central Committee to be expelled from the Party.
Proposing to discipline former Secretary of Bac Ninh Nguyen Nhan Chien
The Central Inspection Committee recommended that the Politburo and the Secretariat discipline former Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien and former Chairman of the province Nguyen Tu Quynh.
