Since the afternoon of April 26, rain has appeared in the Nam O area near Hai Van pass. People in this area and passersby could not help but be excited.
Mr. Tan Viet – a resident living in the Nam O area – said that since 3:30 p.m. there had been a rainstorm that made the air cool. Then the weather stopped and it rained again tonight, much to the delight of the people.
At around 6:00 p.m., a sudden rain fell on every area in Da Nang City. Scattered rain in some localities such as Hoa Vang district, Lien Chieu district and Ngu Hanh Son district, then Hai Chau district, Thanh Khe district and Son Tra district.
The rain fell right at the end of work, causing many people to return home soaking wet.
However, after many days of hot weather, the people of Da Nang appeared very happy and considered this a “golden rain”. The light rain that lasted for more than an hour helped make the air more comfortable.
On social networking sites, young people compete to show off photos of rain in their area and ask if it is raining in their friends’ areas. Everyone was talking loudly because it had been a long time since the rain appeared, and just in time before the holiday, helping to make the tourist city’s air cooler to welcome tourists from tomorrow, April 27.
Previously, the national meteorological agency said that hot weather and intense heat across the country would last until around April 30. From May 1 to May 2, the hot weather across the country is likely to gradually decrease.
