More than 60m from the blasting location is where many households live in hamlet 2, Dien Phu commune (Dien Chau).
When blasting and constructing with vibrating rollers, people believe that it affects housing projects, causing cracks, subsidence, etc. to appear, affecting the structure of the building.
The incident was reported many times by people to local authorities and construction units.
Households requested investors, construction contractors, local authorities and functional agencies to take timely measures to overcome consequences and ensure people’s legitimate rights.
The local government has also repeatedly organized meetings between relevant parties to unify plans to address people’s rights and create consensus to ensure project implementation on schedule.
During a meeting between local authorities and project enterprises in January 2024, Project Management Board 6 of the Ministry of Transport, construction units and 6 related households, including 1 household, The family has agreed with the loss compensation plan prepared by the project enterprise’s appraisal unit.
The remaining 5 households waited until after blasting was completed (March 31) to conduct damage assessment.
According to the company of the Dien Chau – Bai Vot expressway project, the unit worked with households upon receiving feedback and agreed to pay compensation after the inspection unit completed the assessment.
