On January 16, 2024, the Police Investigation Agency of Bac Kan Province decided to prosecute the criminal case “Abusing position and power while performing official duties” that occurred in 2022 at the Joint Stock Company. Bac Kan transportation, service and construction section, located at group 11, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai ward, Bac Kan city, Bac Kan province.

On April 25, 2024, the Police Department of Bac Kan Province issued Decision No. 297/QD-CSDT on supplementing the decision to prosecute criminal case No. 06/QD-CSDT dated January 16, 2024. Accordingly, the investigation agency has grounds to determine that, in addition to the prosecuted crime, there are also signs of the crime of “receiving bribes”.

The decision to prosecute Mr. Nong Xuan Binh for bribery has been approved by the Director of the People’s Procuracy of Bac Kan province. Based on the provisions of law, the Police Investigation Agency temporarily detained Mr. Nong Xuan Binh from April 26, 2024.

This is a case established by Bac Kan Provincial Police to fight violations related to car driving training and testing activities in Bac Kan province. Currently the case is continuing to be investigated./.
