Westlife is an international artist who has been active for a long time, and their fans are not too young compared to other famous K-pop groups.

But the group’s fans in Vietnam are quite loyal, tickets for two shows of The Wild Dreams Tour were quickly sold out.

Recently, the organizing committee opened additional sales for CAT 7 standing tickets worth 600,000 VND. The incident caused controversy on the organizing committee’s fanpage, when some spectators who bought sitting tickets said that the cheap standing tickets affected their rights.

Regarding this, the organizers explained that they opened selling additional standing tickets because the demand to watch the show was too high and stemmed from the wishes of a part of the audience.

“CAT 7 tickets do not have any impact on CAT 1 and CAT 2 tickets that the audience has purchased because all CAT 1 and CAT 2 tickets have clear seat numbers and the distance between seats is guaranteed according to Westlife concert standards.

The issuance of CAT 7 tickets is due to the needs of many audiences. Ticket classes under CAT 1 and CAT 2 are all sold out very quickly, so some audiences want to buy concert tickets at a more reasonable cost” – said a representative of the organizing committee.

In addition, the organizers believe that the issuance of cheap standing tickets also contributes to repelling Westlife’s ticket fraud in Vietnam.
