According to information from Fox News, Ly Huong Ngung, daughter of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, is about to release a book called “In My Own Process”. The book chronicles his late father’s life and career, including rare photographs, his training regimen, martial arts drawings, and philosophical musings.
In the book, Ly Huong Ngung also mentioned rumors about Bruce Lee’s hot-tempered and arrogant personality when he was alive. She explained that her father’s temper stemmed from frustration at the way he was treated and the promises that were not kept. Huong Ngung affirmed that many articles that said bad things about her father were false and emphasized that Bruce Lee’s confidence was often confused with arrogance.

Even though she was only 4 years old when her father passed away, Huong Ngung still felt Bruce Lee’s presence in her mind. She remembers most the feeling of warmth, strength, joy and love that her father gave her. Huong Ngung also shared about her confusion growing up, when she felt she understood her father deeply even though her visual memories were no longer so clear.
In “In My Own Process”, Huong Ngung also wrote about the filming process, her journey to becoming Asia’s top martial arts star in Hollywood and Bruce Lee’s memories at Oakland school. She expressed her pride in being the daughter of this martial arts legend.

Bruce Lee passed away in 1973 at the age of 32, leaving a strong mark in the Hollywood film industry as an actor, director and martial arts expert. Films such as “Star Martial Arts”, “Dragon Fighting Tiger” and “The Dragon Hitchhiking” contributed to bringing Chinese martial arts to global fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s. To this day, the name Bruce Lee’s age is still widely mentioned and has become a classic anecdote in works of art.
