On the morning of November 23, on Instagram, Balenciaga posted a post: “We sincerely apologize for any insults the campaign may have caused. The teddy bear bags should not have been introduced by We strongly condemn child abuse in all its forms and support their safety and well-being.” The brand said it is working with the parties responsible for the production of the photos. The fashion house also removed all images from all platforms.
Balenciaga is a Spanish luxury fashion brand founded by the legendary Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1919. The fashion house is now part of the French multinational Kering group.
