This school is located on a land area with a total area of more than 1,100 square meters2 with 3 classrooms, 1 rest room for teachers.
Trinh Cong Son school resembles a Guol house
From the outside, the school has a design style like a traditional Guol house of the Co Tu ethnic group in Nam Dong district, Thua Thien Hue.
The school is solidly built, roofed with heat-resistant tiles and reinforced with a sturdy steel frame ceiling system.

The total construction investment of this school is more than 2.3 billion VND, of which 1.3 billion VND is sponsored by the Trinh Cong Son Foundation and the remainder comes from the budget of Nam Dong district.
After being put into operation, the school location was assigned to the Center for Vocational Education – Continuing Education of Nam Dong district for use.

Saves the sun and wind for teachers and students in poor districts
Ms. Nguyen Hong, a teacher at the school, said she was very happy when this spacious new school was put into use. Ms. Hong said that this school is located more than 10km from the center of Nam Dong district and used to be very difficult because of degraded facilities.
“In the dry season, we can almost only teach in the morning because the afternoons are very hot. In the winter, it is normal for wind and rain to enter the classroom.
Now that the new school building is spacious and clean, our teachers and students no longer have to teach and study in rainy, windy, and sunny conditions,” Ms. Hong said.
Mr. Tran Van Phuc, director of the Vocational Education Center – Continuing Education of Nam Dong district, said that when Trinh Cong Son school comes into operation, it will make an important contribution to eliminating illiteracy for ethnic minorities. number in Thuong Long commune and neighboring communes, contributing to improving people’s knowledge in Nam Dong mountainous district.
Also at the ceremony, representatives of the late musician Trinh Cong Son’s family presented more than 30 bicycles and 400 gifts to poor, studious students in the mountainous Nam Dong district.
