At the ceremony, antique collector Nguyen Ngoc Hide in Mui Ne ward, Phan Thiet city and other collectors in Binh Thuan presented the Dak Nong Provincial Museum with nearly 800 antiques.

Antiquities include many types with different materials such as stone production tools, ceramic utensils, dishes, bronze utensils, jewelry… Many antiques are dated very early, from very early age. 500 – 700 years BC. Some artifacts date from the 10th to the 20th century.

According to collector Nguyen Ngoc An, he collects antiques because of his passion and donated antiques to the Dak Nong Provincial Museum to preserve and promote the values ​​of artifacts. Thereby, enriching the artifacts in the Provincial Museum, supporting the people’s research, study, sightseeing, understanding and cultural enjoyment.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Le Trong Yen, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People’s Committee, thanked collectors for donating valuable antique collections, contributing to the addition and enrichment of artifacts at the Provincial Museum. .

Mr. Le Trong Yen also noted that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism promotes propaganda and raises awareness among all classes of people about the role, meaning and importance of cultural heritage in daily life. society.

On this occasion, the People’s Committee of Dak Nong Province organized the awarding of Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 11 Excellent Artisans, 2 People’s Artists and posthumously conferred the title of Excellent Artist to 2 artisans in the province.
