(ABO) In the morning of May 26, Tien Giang High School for the Gifted held a closing ceremony for the 2022-2023 school year. Attending were member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Dung; comrades in the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches and mass organizations in Tien Giang province.

In the academic year 2022 – 2023, Tien Giang High School for the Gifted has successfully completed the school year plan, focusing on professional work, increasing the rational use of information technology application in the combination of teaching and practice, relevant to the content of each lesson. As a result, the school’s educational quality has been significantly improved, ensuring the achievement of many targets set at the beginning of the year.

In the past year, the total number of students achieving good behavior in the whole school reached nearly 100%; in which, grade 10 reached 100%; Grade 11 and 12 achieved 99.86% and more than 90% of students ranked academically as excellent.

In particular, many students of the school also achieved high results in exams such as: 16 national excellent student awards (almost doubled compared to 2019). The school is ranked third among schools in the Mekong Delta region in terms of the total number of students who have won the national excellent student award.

At the same time, the whole school also has 147 awards for excellent students at the provincial level; 3 prizes in the Provincial Science – Technology Competition; 46 medals in the Olympic Games 30-4 with 12 Gold medals, 18 Silver medals, 16 Bronze medals…

At the closing ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Tran Van Dung awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND to students with difficult circumstances, overcoming difficulties to study well.
