Tan Bac commune is located 12km north of Quang Binh district center, the terrain is along Highway 279. The total natural land area of ​​the commune is 6,301.65 hectares, divided into 7 villages with 843 households, 4,646 people. permanent residence. The entire commune has 10 ethnic groups living together, including: Pa Then, Tay, Dao, Nung, La Chi, Cao Lan, Mong, Hoa, Kinh, Thai; Average income per capita reached 13.8 million VND/person/year. The ethnic groups in the commune live side by side, unite, love and protect each other, well implement the Party’s guidelines and policies and the State’s laws, together develop the economy and build a modern homeland. richer, more beautiful, more civilized.

Currently, Tan Bac commune has been developing many secondary occupations, contributing to creating jobs for many workers and promoting local economic development in the direction of promoting the development of handicrafts and services, gradually reducing labor in the agricultural sector.
