Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has just signed Decision 1434/QD-TTg dated November 20, 2023 amending Decision No. 1394/QD-TTg dated August 13, 2013 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of Deposit Insurance Vietnam and regulations on the functions and tasks of Vietnam Deposit Insurance; amending Decision No. 1395/QD-TTg dated August 13, 2013 of the Prime Minister approving the Charter on the organization and operation of Vietnam Deposit Insurance.

Accordingly, amending Article 1 of Decision No. 1394/QD-TTg dated August 13, 2013 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of Vietnam Deposit Insurance and regulating the functions and tasks of Vietnam Deposit Insurance Nam as follows:

Established Vietnam Deposit Insurance according to the provisions of the Law on Deposit Insurance dated June 18, 2012.

The charter capital of Vietnam Deposit Insurance is 5,281,018,572,109 VND. (According to Decision No. 1394/QD-TTg dated August 13, 2013, the charter capital of Vietnam Deposit Insurance is 5,000 billion VND).

Vietnam Deposit Insurance has its headquarters in Hanoi city, representative offices and branches in some areas.

Vietnam Deposit Insurance’s international transaction name in English is Deposit Insurance of Vietnam, abbreviated as DIV.

In addition, amending Clause 1, Article 5 of the Charter on the organization and operation of Vietnam Deposit Insurance issued together with Decision No. 1395/QD-TTg dated August 13, 2013 of the Prime Minister as follows :

The charter capital of Vietnam Deposit Insurance is 5,281,018,572,109 VND.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing (November 20, 2023).
