On November 20, the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center held the opening ceremony of the 2023 Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial Karate Open Tournament.

Participating in the tournament were more than 160 athletes (men and women) from 15 units, inside and outside the province, competing in the following events: individual competition for men and women. In particular, the fighting competition content includes 2 groups: group I, from 15-17 years old, competing in weight categories from under 44kg to over 56kg for women and under 48kg to over 64kg for men. Group II, including 18 years old and older, competes in weight categories from under 44kg to over 56kg for women and under 50kg to over 70kg for men.
The tournament takes place until November 22.
