Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Trang – Vice President of the Confederation of Labor of Tien Giang province – said that during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Trade Union of Tien Giang province has always stood side by side with workers, actively mobilizing many resources to take care of workers.

Specifically, the Provincial Labor Confederation promptly deployed support packages and implemented many models such as “0 VND Market”, “Kitchen of Kindness”, “Trade Union accompanying workers to overcome difficulties”, “Program Sharing love – Joining hands to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic”,… Private Meal support for union members and employees carrying out “3 on-site” production at the enterprise reached nearly 50 billion VND. In addition, the Trade Union of Tien Giang province gave nearly 23,000 Union Welfare bags to workers and civil servants, contributing to reducing difficulties in workers’ lives during the quarantine period.

After the COVID-19 epidemic was basically controlled, the Trade Union of Tien Giang province provided support to 1,573 union members and workers whose working hours were reduced or labor contracts terminated due to businesses being cut or reduced. orders, with a total amount of 2.51 billion VND.
