Specifically, on March 2, 2023, the People’s Committee of Tan Thanh commune issued Official Dispatch No. 52/UBND-NC sent to the People’s Committee of My Hiep commune stating: “Through inspection and verification, the current water source is black and smells foul, affecting domestic water sources, irrigation and healthe of households in the area, causing public anger.”requested the People’s Committee of My Hiep commune to report to the authorities to inspect the Sau Thuoc facility and fix it soon.

Dispatch 52 was sent but received no response, so on March 16, 2023, Tan Thanh commune sent officials to My Hiep commune to work directly. At that time, the leaders of My Hiep commune provided Tan Thanh commune officials with Document No. 330/PTNMT-HC signed on March 10, 2023 of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Cao Lanh district (Dong Thap) as an answer.

However, after inspections by the authorities, the status of polluted wastewater from the Sau Thuoc facility remained unchanged, so on May 15, 2023, the People’s Committee of Tan Thanh commune sent a report to the People’s Committee of Cai district. Be and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Cai Be district. Five months later, on October 13, 2023, the People’s Committee of Tan Thanh commune continued to send these two agencies report No. 30/TTr-UBND stating that on September 22, 2023, the People’s Council of the commune met voters in Hamlet 4. , Tan Thanh commune, voters continue to have suggestions to completely resolve this long-term pollution situation.

And recently, on November 14, 2023, the People’s Committee of Tan Thanh commune continued to submit Report No. 339/TTr-UBND to the People’s Committee and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Cai Be district regarding the above situation.
