On November 21, the Police Investigation Agency of Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province temporarily detained Pham Quang Ha (born 1998), residing in Mong Tho B commune, Chau Thanh district, Kien Giang province. Illegal possession of narcotics.
At about 10:30 p.m., November 20, 2023, at the house (no number) on Nguyen Van To street, Vinh Lac ward (Rach Gia city), the City Police Drug Crime Investigation Team Rach Gia coordinated with Vinh Lac Ward Police to catch Pham Quang Ha red-handed illegally storing 3 types of substances suspected to be synthetic drugs.

At the scene, the police confiscated 51 tablets (suspected to be MDMA ecstasy), 151 nylon bags suspected to be synthetic drugs (including 78 red nylon bags (also known as fun drinks), 73 nylon bags inside containing heterogeneous crystalline particles (Ketamine), hidden at the dressing table and under the lounge chair on the ground floor. Initially, Ha admitted that the 3 types of drugs seized by the police were synthetic drugs, controlled by Ha. Bought in Ho Chi Minh City for over 200 million VND, just brought it home and hid it when the police discovered and arrested it.
Previously, on August 7, 2023, Ha was arrested by Rach Gia City Police for illegal possession of drugs. Afterwards, Ha was sentenced to 5 years in prison by the People’s Court of Rach Gia city for the above crime. Ha is currently on bail, waiting to serve his sentence, then continues to commit crimes again.
The case is being further investigated to clarify the subject in accordance with the law.
