The total number of violating forest products temporarily detained and awaiting handling is 15.5m3 of round wood of all kinds; Administrative fines amounting to more than 10 million VND.

According to assessments of Dinh Hoa district authorities, violations of the Forestry Law in the area tend to become complicated, including a number of cases of illegal exploitation of forest products. In 2023 alone, there will be 2 cases of destruction of protective forests in Khuan Nha hamlet, Quy Ky commune and Lang Ha hamlet, Lam Vy commune. The District Police Investigation Police Department prosecuted the case and the defendants.
In the coming time, to strengthen forest management, protection and development, Dinh Hoa district requires localities and units to promote propaganda and good implementation of regulations and laws on forestry. At the same time, direct officers to closely monitor the area, strengthen inspection, detect and strictly handle violations.
