(Construction) – On the morning of April 23, Vinh Phuc No. 1 Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2024 and the term 2024 – 2029 with the participation of 145 shareholders of the Company. The Congress passed many important resolutions to ensure the successful implementation of the unit’s annual production and business plan in the new context.

Report at the Congress, in the first months of 2024, in the context of extremely complicated developments in the domestic and world economies, inflation and input fuel prices continue to increase, many businesses being closed and shrinking production has significantly affected the production and business activities of businesses in particular. Overcoming all difficulties, Vinh Phuc No. 1 Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company has achieved many remarkable results.
In 2023, the Company has ensured a safe supply of clean water for business and production activities of businesses and people, with water quality increasingly improving. Consumption output reached over 17,204 million m3. The Company’s total revenue reached 211.1 billion VND, reaching 98.6% of the plan. Of which, revenue from clean water production is 198.9 billion VND, reaching 101.5% of the plan; Construction revenue reached 40% of plan due to the impact of the economy after Covid-19. Profit after tax reached 106.4%. Total revenue at the end of the term increased by 46% compared to the beginning of the term in 2019. The water loss rate was 11.2%, a sharp decrease compared to the beginning of the term in 2019, which was 15.27%. The lives of workers in the Company are guaranteed.
With the above production and business results, the Congress received many discussions and comments from shareholders on production and business results in 2023, and the Company’s planned targets set for the year. 2024, as well as the upcoming 2024 – 2029 term.
Based on the discussion content and the set goals and solutions for 2024, as well as the 2024 – 2029 term, the Shareholders’ Meeting approved the main production and business targets for 2024 such as production Water consumption will reach over 17.43 million m3 by 2028, reaching 21.1 million m3. Total revenue reaches over 206 billion VND to 250 billion VND in 2028, reducing water loss rate to 12%…
The company will focus financial resources to invest in water supply for localities in the water supply area according to Decision No. 1409/QD-UBND of the Provincial People’s Committee dated June 26, 2023 such as: Water supply in Hoang Lau commune, Hoang Dan, An Hoa – Tam Duong district; Quat Luu commune, Gia Khanh town, Thien Ke, Binh Xuyen district; Upgrading and renovating water supply pipes, increasing the capacity of Viet Xuan water plant phase 2… strengthening solutions to prevent water loss and develop customers.
