(PLO)- Two young men entered the garden to steal property and nearly severed the right elbow and fractured the back of the left hand of a judge in Don Duong district, Lam Dong.
On April 24, Don Duong district police, province Lam Dong Arrested Jo Nung Rop Ya Hieu, 19 years old, residing in Ka Do Moi 1 village, Ka Do commune, Don Duong district to investigate the act of intentionally causing injury.
Before that, on the evening of April 17, Mr. Vo Thanh Luan (39 years old, living in Ward 12, Da Lat City; was judge working at the People’s Court of Don Duong district) was on duty and working at the agency when he discovered that the security camera in his parents’ garden in Ka Do Moi 2 village, Ka Do commune was turned off.
Mr. Vo Thanh Luan was taken to the emergency room and treated at Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedics Hospital by his family.
Worried that something bad was going on, Mr. Luan ran home and found two people breaking into the family’s two garden houses theft of property.
When Mr. Luan shouted, Je Nung Rop Ya Hieu suddenly held a knife and nearly cut off his right elbow and broke the back of his left hand, then ran away.
Mr. Luan was taken to the emergency room and treated at Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedics Hospital by his family.
Receiving the news, Don Duong District Police intervened and on April 19, identified the two people who broke into Mr. Luan’s parents’ house to steal property as Ya Hieu and Ya Dong Quoc (41 years old).
The police determined that Quoc was Ya Hieu’s biological uncle and that Quoc’s mother had worked as a gardener for Luan’s mother’s family for many years.
Speaking to the police, Quoc and Hieu said that on the evening of April 17, Quoc took Hieu to Mr. Luan’s family’s garden hut in Ka Do Moi 2 village to steal.
After breaking into the first garden house and taking a knife, the two used this knife to cut the security camera wire and then went out to steal diesel from the tractor left outside to dump the family’s tractor. .
However, there was no diesel in the truck, so the two went to Mr. Luan’s mother’s garden to steal iron pipes to use as a frame to grow passion fruit.
After stealing the iron tube, the two went in the opposite direction and entered Mr. Luan’s mother’s second garden house (about 15 meters from the first garden house) to continue looking for stolen property.
While the two thieves were in the house, Mr. Luan came home to discover them and shouted. Ya Hieu was the one who used a knife to attack and slash. Mr. Luan used his hand to block and injured both hands.
