12th session (Thematic session) Tien Giang Provincial People’s Council, term X: Approved 5 resolutions

(ABO) On the morning of April 24, the People’s Council of Tien Giang province, term X, held its 12th session (thematic session).

Attending the meeting were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Vo Van Binh; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Vinh; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; leaders of the Provincial People’s Council Committees; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and organizations; and 53/61 delegates of the Provincial People’s Council, term X.

Comrades: Vo Van Binh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Tran Thanh Nguyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council and Nguyen Huu Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the Provincial People’s Council reviewed and discussed the submissions of the Provincial People’s Committee, and reported on verifying the contents submitted to the session by the Economic and Budget Committees and the Legal Committee of the Provincial People’s Council.

On the basis of reviewing the reports of the Provincial People’s Committee; Report on verification of contents presented at the meeting of the Economic and Budget Committees and the Legal Committee of the Provincial People’s Council; Based on current legal regulations and actual local situation; The Provincial People’s Council discussed, evaluated objectively, comprehensively and unanimously passed 5 resolutions including: Resolution amending and supplementing Clause 2, Article 1 Resolution No. 32/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2023 of the People’s Council province on state budget revenue estimates in the area, local budget revenues and expenditures in 2024; Resolution amending and supplementing Section II Article 1 of Resolution No. 33/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2023 of the Provincial People’s Council on local budget allocation in 2024; Resolution to add salary workers from the state budget in 2024; Resolution approving the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units for the period 2023 – 2025 of Tien Giang province; Resolution on changing the names of neighborhoods in Ward 3 and Ward 4, TX. Speaking at the end of the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Binh said that after a positive, urgent, serious working session, with a high spirit of democracy and responsibility, the 12th Session (Thematic Session) of the People’s Council The X-term province has completed the proposed contents and programs.

At the meeting, the Provincial People’s Council reviewed and discussed draft Resolutions attached to the Provincial People’s Committee’s report; Verification reports of the Economic and Budget Committee and the Legal Committee of the Provincial People’s Council. On that basis, delegates voted to pass 5 resolutions in various fields.

The contents approved at the meeting ensure democracy, correct order, procedures and principles according to the provisions of law. This is the legal basis to promptly resolve state budget revenues, expenditures and allocations, supplement the number of people working and receive salaries from the state budget, and arrange commune-level administrative units during the period. 2023 – 2025 in the province…, thereby contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.

To effectively implement the resolutions recently passed by the Provincial People’s Council, the Provincial People’s Committee urgently organizes their implementation; Using appropriate forms, the Provincial People’s Council Committees, Delegate Groups and Provincial People’s Council delegates promptly inform and report to voters on the results of the meeting and resolutions passed by the Provincial People’s Council; Strengthen supervision of the implementation process of sectors and levels to soon bring resolutions to life.

On the other hand, to complete at the highest level the socio-economic development goals and tasks of 2024, as a basis for successfully implementing the province’s political tasks according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress. 11th session, term 2020 – 2025 and the Resolution of the Provincial People’s Council on the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2021 – 2025) has been proposed, requesting leaders at all levels, sectors, and each People’s Council delegate The province continues to promote the spirit of responsibility, positivity, initiative, enhance its role, strengthen coordination, and determine to perform well the tasks of the 2021 – 2026 term. In particular, focus on synchronously implementing solutions measures to accelerate the implementation of Tien Giang Province Planning for the period 2021 – 2030, with a vision to 2050, urgently complete the remaining tasks to best prepare for the Conference to announce Resolution No. 1013/NQ -UBTVQH15 dated March 19, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement and establishment of wards in the town.
