On April 24, information from the People’s Committee of Thuong Xuan town (Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province) said that after search efforts, people and authorities found the body of a drowned 8th grade male student.
The area was found in the Nong Giang river section, near Bai Thuong dam (in Xuan Bai commune, Tho Xuan district) – where it borders Thuong Xuan district.
According to initial information, before that, on the afternoon of April 23, when school was off, a group of students invited each other to the Bai Thuong dam area to play and cool off.
While playing here, unfortunately LGM (8th grade student, Thuong Xuan Town Secondary School) drowned and went missing.
On the morning of April 24, M’s body was found.
After completing the procedures, the authorities handed over the victim’s body to the family for burial according to local customs.
