According to information from Gia Lai Electricity Company, it is expected that the load in 2024 can reach 320 MW, an increase of about 10.3% compared to 2023. Based on operating data over the years, the peak load of the season dry load can increase up to 20% compared to the year’s average peak load.

The company has organized many propaganda campaigns about economical use of electricity. Recently, Gia Lai Electricity Company coordinated with departments, branches and localities to continue implementing voluntary electricity load adjustment programs to reduce stress on the electricity system during peak hours. according to the electricity load adjustment program implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade according to Circular No. 23/2017/TT-BCT. In addition to promoting propaganda work, Gia Lai Electricity Company also deploys technical solutions to ensure power source stability.

To ensure stable operation of the power grid and ensure power supply during the dry season months of 2024, the Company focuses on synchronously implementing many solutions such as: checking and monitoring critical points, locations and Line sections at risk of incidents; Actively check the line corridor for sections with many tall trees at risk of falling onto the line to have a plan for tying, pruning, and cutting off the tops; Specifically assign each individual responsible for inspecting, detecting and handling each management area.

At the same time, applying advanced technologies and equipment such as cleaning hotline, flycam, thermal camera, partial discharge meter, grounding resistance meter, lightning protection valve leakage current meter… to check periodic power grid.
