The Foreign Ministers of Vietnam and Indonesia walked and ate pho in Hanoi

Ms. Retno Marsudi is on an official visit to Vietnam and co-chairs the 5th meeting of the Vietnam – Indonesia Bilateral Cooperation Committee on April 24-25, at the invitation of Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son. .

Before co-chairing the 5th Meeting of the Vietnam – Indonesia Bilateral Cooperation Committee, the two Ministers took a walk at Hoan Kiem Lake in cool and pleasant weather right after the morning rain.

The two Ministers discussed the relationship between the two countries as well as discussed measures to further strengthen the Vietnam – Indonesia Strategic Partnership, which is constantly developing strongly and deeply in all fields.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi highly appreciated the good traditional relationship between the two countries in general and between the two Foreign Ministries in particular. In particular, the close feelings between the two Foreign Ministries have made an important contribution to promoting the growing relationship between the two countries.

On this occasion, Minister Bui Thanh Son introduced the cultural history of the Capital, especially the Northern Palace (current Government Guest House building), the legend of Sword Lake, Ngoc Son Temple…

Minister Retno Marsudi praised Hanoi’s beautiful landscapes, the work of preserving monuments as well as preserving the capital’s green, clean and beautiful environment.

After walking, the two Ministers and members of the delegation had beef pho and black coffee in Hanoi, which are familiar breakfast dishes of the people.

Ms. Retno Marsudi praised Vietnam’s cuisine for being very diverse and delicious, in which pho has become a dish that many international friends know and want to enjoy.
