Tank 300 adds a new, more powerful version
The new Tank 300 SUV model has been added with Hi4-T version. This version focuses on engine power, with a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine combined with an electric motor for a total capacity of up to 408 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. The included gearbox is a 9-speed type. This version has 4-wheel drive and has a differential lock system.
The car uses lithium-ion batteries. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, when using only electricity and a full battery, the car can travel about 105km. This battery is rechargeable.
Meanwhile, if filled with gasoline, the vehicle’s operating range is about 860km. The company announced that the vehicle’s fuel consumption is only about 2.06 liters/100km.

The overall design of the Tank 300 Hi4-T is still the same as the version currently sold on the market. The car has dimensions of 4,760 x 1,930 x 1,903 (mm). Wheelbase 2,750mm. The car has an approach angle of 32 degrees and an exit angle of 33 degrees. Ground clearance 222mm. 18 inch wheels set with 2 contrasting color tones.
According to the initial announcement, the Tank 300 Hi4-T was limited to only 3,000 units. Therefore, the possibility of this version being brought to Vietnam is not high. It is likely that the Tank 300 about to be sold in Vietnam is a lower version that was displayed at the 2024 Bangkok auto show.
Tank 300 is about to return to Vietnam
Tank 300 has been confirmed to return to Vietnam. In recent days, dealers have continuously offered to reserve this model, with the promise that the car will arrive this year. The expected price of this car model is 1.2 billion VND, equivalent to the selling price in Thailand.
Tank 300 has a Jeep Wrangler design. The main lighting cluster and taillights both use LED technology. The wheels sold in Thailand are 17 inches in size.

The Tank 300’s interior has some details reminiscent of Mercedes-Benz, such as dual screens or turbine air vents. Some other outstanding equipment in the car also includes an 8-way electric driver’s seat with massage, a gear lever like on a fighter plane, 2-zone automatic air conditioning with fine dust filter, wireless charging…

If the car sold in Vietnam is similar to the version distributed in Thailand, the engine will be a hybrid with a 2.0L gasoline engine, but weaker than the Hi4-T version. This engine produces 204 horsepower, 380Nm of torque, and cannot be charged externally like the Hi4-T. Safety technology has many ADAS features.
When returning to Vietnam, Tank 300 can become a competitor of Hyundai Santa Fe or Kia Sorento.
