The Trade Union of Quang Binh Economic Zone collects trade union fees through intermediary accounts

On April 24, the Economic Zone Trade Union and Labor Confederation of Quang Binh province said that they had just collected union fees from a company through an intermediary account.

Accordingly, in 2024, Hoang Long Titanium Mineral Processing Joint Stock Company has deducted and paid trade union fees (2%) through the Vietnam Trade Union intermediary account, and the system has transferred funds. 75% goes to the Grassroots Trade Union, the rest is allocated to 3 levels (Economic Zone Trade Union, Provincial Labor Confederation and General Confederation).

Collecting trade union dues using the new method will help trade unions at all levels monitor and manage the situation of paying trade union dues of non-state enterprises in a timely manner.

To implement the deduction and payment of funds through intermediary accounts, right from the beginning of the year, the Economic Zone Trade Union actively propagated and mobilized businesses and grassroots trade unions to open grassroots union accounts and declare information about businesses and grassroots unions; At the same time, coordinate with bank officials to guide the corporate accounting department on how to transfer money…

Up to this point, 11/26 grassroots unions under the Economic Zone Trade Union have declared and activated the Vietnam trade union intermediary account to pay union fees. Hoang Long Titanium Mineral Processing Joint Stock Company is the first enterprise in Quang Binh province to transfer funds to the trade union’s intermediary account.
