4 subjects include: Tran Kim Q. (born in 2007, residing in Lien Hong commune, Hai Duong city), Nguyen Xuan TA, Nguyen Minh T. (both born in 2007, residing in Cong Hoa commune, Nam Sach district) and Nguyen Van M. (born in 2008, residing in Hong Lac commune, Thanh Ha district).
Previously, on April 17, Hai Duong City Police received a report from Mr. Pham Van Trung (born in 2004, residing in Duc Xuong commune, Gia Loc) about having his motorbike stolen. Specifically, at about 0:45 on April 12, Mr. Trung was riding a Honda Wave motorbike carrying Mr. Trieu Quang Thang (born in 2004, residing in An Duc commune, Ninh Giang district) on Hoang Hoa Tham street, Nguyen Trai ward, City. Hai Duong (in front of the Children’s House gate) met 4 teenagers on 2 motorbikes going in the opposite direction.
When they saw Mr. Trung and Mr. Thang, these four people turned around and chased after them. The two people sitting in the back were holding two iron tubes. When Mr. Trung reached the front door of house No. 6 Tam Giang (Tran Hung Dao ward, Hai Duong city), these 4 subjects caught up, blocked the car and used an iron pipe to beat Mr. Trung and Mr. Thang ran away. After that, the subjects appropriated Mr. Trung’s motorbike, worth about 15 million VND.
After receiving the report, the Social Order Crime Investigation Police Team and Hai Duong City Police urgently conducted investigation and verification.
Among the 4 subjects above, Nguyen Van M. has just had 1 criminal record for property theft (punished in March 2024). M., Q. and T. have all dropped out of school and left home to wander for many months. TA is currently studying in grade 11 at a Vocational College in the province. All four of these people often go to internet cafes to play.
