(Construction) – Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong – Chairman of Thua Thien – Hue Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a Decision approving investment in the project to upgrade and expand the road along Bo River (Huong Tra town), with a total investment of more than 116 billion VND.

Investment project to upgrade and expand Bo riverside road, section through Tu Ha ward, Huong Van ward, Huong Xuan ward and Huong Toan commune (Huong Tra town), with a total length of 7,550m. The starting point is on Song Bo road at the intersection of extended Kim Tra road and the ending point is at Provincial Road 8B in Huong Toan commune (Huong Tra town). The goal is to gradually complete transport infrastructure according to planning, serve people’s livelihood, develop land fund, and contribute to local socio-economic development.
Completed cross-section according to planning: Section through Tu Ha ward is 16.5m wide; The section through Huong Van ward is 19.5m; Section through Huong Xuan ward 24.0m; The section through Huong Toan commune is 13.5m. Phase 1 investment divergence cross-section: The section from the beginning of the route to Cua Khau bridge has a cross-section size of 13.5m wide; The section from Cua Khau bridge to the end of the route has a cross-section of 9.5m.
A1 high-grade pavement, asphalt concrete pavement structure, crushed stone foundation, compacted soil foundation and curb K95-K98. Works on the route shall be constructed in accordance with the cross-section of the route. New construction of Cua Khau bridge with bridge width of 16.5m. New construction of Ke bridge, with bridge width of 16.5m.
Scale of construction of permanent works. Construction of new sidewalks for the section from the beginning of the route to the intersection of Tu Phu bridge with a length of 1,187m. Arrange for new installation of traffic safety systems (paint lines, signs, marker posts, guardrails…)
The decision notes that during the process of implementing the construction drawing design step, the investor and agencies continue to review, supplement and complete according to the opinions of the Department of Transport. Assess the impact of flood water levels (historical, annual) to have a flood drainage plan, ensure traffic during the rainy season and environmental protection requirements…
