On the afternoon of April 23, 2024, at the headquarters of the Statistics Department of Lam Dong province, the delegation of the General Statistics Office (GSO) led by Deputy Director General of the General Statistics Office Le Trung Hieu had a working session with the Provincial Statistics Department. At the meeting, delegates listened to representatives of the Department of Statistics present a report on the implementation of the 2025 Census pilot in Lam Dong province. According to the report, implementing Decision No. 637/QD-TCTK dated July 17, 2023 of the General Director of the GSO on promulgating a pilot survey plan for the 2025 Census. Lam Dong Provincial Statistics Department has developed Plan No. 208/KHDT- CTK dated March 28, 2024 and document assigning inspection and supervision to implement the pilot survey of Census 2025 in the province.


Based on direction Based on the 2025 Census pilot survey plan, Lam Dong Statistics Department selected 02 units to carry out the pilot survey: Da Lat city and Lam Ha district.


Regarding the investigation area, Da Lat City conducted it in 02 communes with 04 areas, specifically Ta Nung commune: Village 2 – group 2, Village 4 – group 9, 10, 11; Xuan Tho commune: Areas of Groups 6, 8, 9 Da Loc, Groups 1, 2 Da Quy.


Lam Ha district implemented in 02 communes and 04 areas: Tan Van commune: Tan Hiep village area – hamlet 1, Duc Ha village; Tan Ha commune: Phuc Tho 1 Village (Hamlet 1, Hamlet 2), Phuc Tho 1 Village (1/2 Hamlet 5 + Hamlet 6 + Hamlet 7).


The urban area chose Dinh Van Town, Lam Ha district to pilot the work of making a list of households engaged in agricultural, forestry and fishery production activities.


The task of selecting inventory preparers and enumerators is local people who are knowledgeable about the area and have the ability to approach households to carry out the task of preparing household inventory with agricultural, forestry and fishery activities in the locality. table. Particularly for Commune People’s Committee votes; Farm vouchers and vouchers for enterprises, cooperatives, and civil servants The Statistics Department coordinates with the commune-level Statistics office to directly collect information.


Training and guidance on investigation skills are also implemented. Accordingly, the training is carried out online at 02 points of the Province: the Provincial Statistics Department and the Lam Ha District Statistics Department. Participants in the training are Department leaders; leaders and civil servants in charge of the AFF sector and 2 Departments: Information Collection, Economic Statistics; leaders and all civil servants 02 Sisters of the Statistics Department as pointers; The investigator convened the investigation.

Training content includes: Updating household lists; Professional training and guidance on using CAPI. Training ensures correct training process, content, and duration. Regarding the results of the enumeration, the whole province has nearly 3,478 households surveyed, of which: households surveyed in rural areas: 817 households; Households participating in agricultural activities in urban areas: more than 2,670 households. Specifically, rural areas: 4/8 areas have a total number of listed households in each area of ​​over 110 households; 4/8 areas have a total number of listed households from 68-93 households (not merged because these areas have been separated according to the 2019 Census area and are rural areas). In the urban area, the results of listing the entire Dinh Van town have more than 2,670 households participating in agricultural, forestry and fishery activities. Due to the review and preparation of the listing, the division of geographical areas has not been carried out to update. on the Website to pilot the 2025 Census. By April 12, 2024, the farm list of Da Lat City and Lam Ha district had been updated on the Website.


Regarding survey sampling, Lam Dong province implemented a total number of sample households for the entire survey of 200 households, and a total of 10 households in the entire province for in-depth sample surveys. For sample farm households, the Statistics Department coordinated with the Statistics Branch to select 06 farms, 03 farms in each district to conduct the farm questionnaire survey.


The Department of Statistics has also decentralized supervisors at the Provincial level, administrators and supervisors at the district level in accordance with the instructions of the Department of Data Collection and Statistical Information Technology Application. Implement account creation and assign enumerators to sample household and commune questionnaires on the Web, farm questionnaires to enumerate paper ballots, and assignment of enumerators was completed on April 13, 2024.
