On April 24, Lam Dong Department of Transport announced the ban on trucks with a total tonnage of over 20 tons from circulating on Bao Loc Pass according to time frames to ensure traffic order and safety. during the holiday period April 30 – May 1, 2024 in Lam Dong province.

Trucks with a tonnage of over 20 tons will be banned from traveling according to time frames on Bao Loc Pass during the holiday.

Accordingly, vehicles with trucks over 20 tons are prohibited from circulating during specific time frames: Upward direction from Da Huoai district to Bao Loc city, prohibited from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 27 and 28, 2024; Downward direction from Bao Loc city to Da Huoai district, prohibited from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on April 30 and May 1, 2024.

The Prenn Pass route to Mimosa Pass will still allow two-way traffic as currently. However, the traffic police force will proactively and flexibly regulate traffic between these two routes, depending on the actual traffic situation. This is to avoid congestion and reduce the risk of traffic accidents.

The ban on trucks over 20 tons from traveling on Bao Loc Pass during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 is a measure to increase traffic safety during the upcoming holiday season.
