In the first quarter of 2024, with the drastic direction of the Government and the active participation of ministries, branches and localities, the traffic order and safety situation across the country will basically be controlled. The number of deaths from traffic accidents (traffic accidents) decreased by over 480 people compared to the same period in 2023. However, the number of traffic accidents increased by 1,194 cases and an increase of 1,847 people injured due to traffic accidents.

Speaking at the Conference, the representative of the Traffic Safety Committee of Thai Nguyen province emphasized: In recent times, all levels, branches and organizations of the province have synchronously implemented solutions to ensure traffic safety. Thanks to that, traffic safety order in the area decreased in both the number of cases, deaths and injuries, making Thai Nguyen one of the few provinces with 13 consecutive years of reducing the number of deaths due to traffic accidents. In the first quarter of 2024, patrolling, control and handling of violations of traffic order and safety will be maintained regularly. Compared to the same period in 2023, traffic accidents decrease by 71 cases, deaths by 22 people and injuries by 60 people.
Immediately after the online conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee directed and thoroughly grasped a number of key tasks in the second quarter of 2024 in the province.
