Discipline of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for 2 terms and a series of officials

On April 23 and 24, 2024, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Committee held its 40th meeting. Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee The Central Inspection Committee presided over the Meeting. At this Meeting, the Central Inspection Committee (Inspection Committee) reviewed and concluded some of the following contents:

I- Reviewing the inspection results when there were signs of violation and the review results, recommending disciplinary action against the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, the Central Audit Committee found:

The Standing Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; violating the principles of self-criticism, criticism, and unity within the Party and in personnel work; lack of responsibility, lax leadership, direction, lack of inspection and supervision to prevent the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Council (People’s Council), the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee (People’s Committee) and many organizations and individuals from violating the law. Seriously violating Party regulations and State laws in implementing a number of investment projects, including projects by Progressive International Joint Stock Company (AIC), FLC Group Joint Stock Company, Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company implemented; Some officials and party members have degraded political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, are negative, accept bribes, declare personal assets dishonestly, violate the Law on Prevention and Combat of Corruption, and violate regulations. about what party members cannot do and the responsibility to set an example.

The above violations have caused very serious consequences, damage and risk of damage, and a huge waste of money and assets of the State; causing public anger and negatively affecting the reputation of the party organization and local government, to the point of requiring review and disciplinary action.

Related to the above violations are also the responsibilities of a number of other party organizations and party members.

Consider the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violation; Pursuant to the Party’s regulations, The Central Audit Committee decided to enforce discipline:

– Warning: Party Committee of the People’s Council of Vinh Phuc province for the term 2021 – 2026; Party Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee for the terms 2016-2021, 2021 – 2026 and comrades: Nguyen Van Tri, Nguyen Ba Huy, Dinh Ngoc Khoa, Vu Chi Giang, Nguyen Kim Khai, Le Van Kien, Khong Son Truong , Nguyen Kim Tuan, Nguyen Thanh Tung, Nguyen Duc Tai, Do Huu Vinh, Tran Gia Long, Nguyen Ba Hien, Nguyen Van Do, Do Dinh Viet, Bui Minh Hong, Nguyen Cong Loc, Nguyen Xuan Phuong, Nguyen Van Bac.

– Reprimand: Party Committee of the People’s Council of Vinh Phuc province for the term 2016 – 2021; Standing Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Party Committee for the terms 2015 – 2020, 2020 – 2025 and comrades: Tran Van Vinh, Nguyen Trung Hai, Phan The Huy, Le Van Phuc.

2- Central Audit Committee proposed:The Politburo reviews and enforces discipline on the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms.

3- Central Audit Committee requested: The Standing Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline 17 party organizations and 17 party members according to the conclusion of the Central Audit Committee. The Central Audit Committee continues to review and enforce discipline on other related party organizations and party members.
