Strive to have no more near-poor households according to the criteria by the end of 2024

(BL-TT) On the morning of April 24, the Provincial People’s Council supervision delegation led by Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council came to work with the City People’s Committee. Bac Lieu on the situation and results of implementing recommendations of the Provincial People’s Council supervision delegations in 2021 – 2022.

Report to the supervision team, City. Bac Lieu said that after receiving the opinions and recommendations of the monitoring delegations in 4 topics, the city has urgently analyzed the limitations, thereby providing appropriate solutions to well implement the tasks. Opinions and recommendations were put forward by the monitoring delegations.

Typically, in sustainable poverty reduction, with many synchronous solutions, the city has reduced 100% of poor households, by 2023 there will be no more poor households according to the criteria; strive to have no near-poor households by the end of 2024 according to the criteria. Regarding public land management, the city has currently deployed landmarks on 63 land plots, and is planning to mark 74 more plots of land. Regarding the voters’ petitions under the city’s authority to handle and resolve, only 1 petition has been completed, 3 petitions are still being implemented…
