The study was conducted to find out the factors that affect the professional attachment of primary school teachers in U Minh Thuong district, Kien Giang province. The study took a representative sample of 150 teachers in 6 primary schools in the area. Research results show that there are 5 factors that affect teacher engagement from high to low as follows: (1) Promotion training; (2) Teacher salary; (3) Colleague relationships; (4) Working environment; (5) Policy level. Based on the analysis of the results, the authors propose policy implications to improve the engagement of primary school teachers in U Minh Thuong district, Kien Giang province.
