According to records, from the beginning of 2024, industrial production in Binh Duong has recovered positively, businesses have received more orders to expand production. In that context, businesses in Binh Duong began recruiting workers in larger numbers.
Mr. Pham Van Tuyen – Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province said that the province’s labor market situation has shown signs of improvement in the first months of 2024.
The need for increased recruitment by businesses is very large, the province’s expected demand for 2024 is from 60,000 – 80,000 workers.
Some fields such as garment, backpack and handbag sewing, sofa sewing, electronics, wood, shoes, plastic, printing, hardware… need a lot of labor, creating job opportunities for unskilled workers.
According to Mr. Pham Van Tuyen, the first months of the year are often the time when workers will have many advantages in terms of job opportunities, so workers also tend to change jobs.
On the other hand, many businesses in the province have returned orders, so the need to recruit skilled and unskilled workers has also increased.
According to records, due to increased recruitment demand, recruiting labor for businesses in Binh Duong is starting to become more difficult. Recently, the labor force returning to Binh Duong is less, businesses cannot recruit enough workers and have to contract with supply companies. However, the number of recruits is not much.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province is implementing measures to attract workers to Binh Duong. Binh Duong Provincial Labor Confederation also updated the list of businesses with grassroots unions recruiting workers and sent it to the Labor Confederation of other provinces to connect and introduce jobs to workers.
