Vu Thi Tuyet, administrator of a group called “Hai Duong Red Light District” on Facebook with 2,200 members, was recently arrested by Hai Duong Provincial Police for prostitution brokerage.

According to Vietnamnet, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency has just issued a decision to temporarily detain Vu Thi Tuyet (also known as Phuong; born in 1988, permanently residing in Son Ha commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province). ; currently in Tan Binh ward, Hai Duong city) about prostitution brokerage and decided to prosecute a criminal prostitution brokerage case.

Through professional work, the Criminal Police Department of Hai Duong Provincial Police discovered that Vu Thi Tuyet used to work as a prostitute in Laos and showed signs of suspicion of prostitution brokerage activities on cyberspace. Tuyet is the administrator of the group “Hai Duong Red Light District” on Facebook with 2,200 members and a member of the Telegram chat group called “Check rv Hai Duong” with 1,831 members.

The main activities of these two groups are posting news, articles, interacting and sharing content related to prostitution activities in Hai Duong province.

More information in Dai Doan Ket newspaper, on April 16, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with Thanh Binh Ward Police (Hai Duong City) to inspect Truong An Hotel and Bao An 1 Motel (both in the ward area). Thanh Binh) discovered and caught Vu Thi Tuyet and four other prostitutes selling sex to customers. These 4 prostitutes are all members of the group “Hai Duong Red Light District” and the group “Check rv Hai Duong” and all sell sex under Tuyet’s guidance and brokerage.

Along with the arrest of Tuyet, the Criminal Police Department of Hai Duong Provincial Police promptly prevented Tuyet’s act of colluding with other subjects to leave for Bamako City, Republic of Mali (Africa). on April 19 to practice prostitution to avoid detection by the authorities, while continuing to operate the group “Hai Duong Red Light District”.

Currently, the case is being investigated extensively and handled according to the provisions of law.
