According to the indictment, between March and May 2023, taking advantage of citizens’ freedom of speech, Nguyen Thu Hang used a Facebook account named “Nguyen Thu Hang” to livestream and post. uploading many videos with words and statements that insult the honor and dignity of some organizations and individuals, such as: People’s Court of Quang Binh province, People’s Committee of Nam Ly ward, City Inspectorate and Department of Education and Training Create Dong Hoi City.

Defendant Hang’s actions have violated and seriously affected the legitimate rights and interests of many individuals and organizations, causing confusion in public opinion and reducing people’s trust in organizations and officials. , State employees.

During the investigation phase, defendant Hang only admitted part of his crime. However, at the trial, the defendant admitted all the crimes, sincerely declared, repented, repented and apologized to organizations and individuals.

Defendant Nguyen Thu Hang said that due to personal frustration and lack of understanding of the law, he acted inappropriately. This is a profound lesson from my own experience.

The jury sentenced Nguyen Thu Hang to 24 months in prison for the above crime.
