About 3,000 industrial production facilities are located interspersed in residential areas

According to the People’s Committee of Binh Duong province, the number of industrial production enterprises located outside industrial clusters in Binh Duong province is very large, accounting for about 71% of the total number of industrial production establishments.

Most of these establishments have small and medium scale industrial production. These businesses existed before the construction of concentrated industrial zones and clusters.

Currently, these industrial production facilities are scattered throughout residential areas and urban areas. Many businesses lack the necessary resources to treat waste, protect the environment, protect public health… causing difficulties in Binh Duong’s urban development.
